Terms and Conditions

  1. All new deliveries are started on a Monday – Saturday basis unless otherwise agreed.

  2. Delivery will commence the following Monday after you have placed an order, on a Friday your order will commence on the next available Monday

  3. You agree to take the Belfast Telegraph for a minimum period of twelve days. If you chose to cancel before this period has expired, you agree to pay the agreed weekly rate.

  4. All holiday stops must be supplied with at least 72 hours notice, if the holiday is given with less notice we cannot guarantee delivery will be stopped as requested and will be charged accordingly.

  5. This service is provided on the basis that your account will be charged in arrears, you agree that your account will be paid promptly and where appropriate you should ensure you have sufficient funds in your account to ensure your account is in credit at least once every four weeks.

  6. In the event of adverse weather conditions or other Force Majeure events Independent News & Media reserves the right to suspend newspaper deliveries temporarily. If such an event occurs your account will be refunded for any missed deliveries.

  7. In order to set-up a direct debit or card payment you must be the signatory on the account or the cardholder and have your bank/card details to hand.

  8. All payments are made payable to Independent News & Media Ltd

  9. If you have requested a free gift you must continue your service for at least six weeks to qualify. If you choose to cancel before this period your gift will also be cancelled. Please allow an extra 2-4 weeks to set-up magazine subscriptions. These subscriptions will run for a six month period from a set-up date.

  10. All gifts offered are subject to availability and Independent News & Media reserve the right to replace these gifts with alternative options.

  11. These gifts are only available to new subscribers to the Belfast Telegraph.

  12. The publishers/ suppliers of the gift you have chosen will process your data in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and may at times, contact you with regard to other offers or promotions that they believe will be of interest to you.

  13. If you wish to suspend temporarily or cancel your delivery service please allow 72 hours notice.

  14. This on-line subscription service is only available to NI residents who live within a delivery area as defined by current postcode area. Please enter your Postcode in the subscription screen to determine if the service is available in your area.

  15. Deliveries are only made to drop off points directly adjacent to the street ie:on a doorstep, or through a letterbox. Deliveries are not available to upper floors or areas with restricted access Ie:through security doors, unless there is a prior agreement with a Belfast Telegraph distributor.

  16. To notify us of a change of address and receive advice if your delivery service can be continued at your new address please contact Customer Service on 0800 028 1909 or write to us at Independent News & Media 124-144 Royal Avenue, Belfast BT1 1EB.

  17. Independent News & Media or its authorised agents reserves the right to recover all costs incurred in the collection of unpaid and overdue funds.

  18. Independent News & Media reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions as they see fit to satisfy their own commercial requirements.

  19. The offer is available for a six week period only after which you will be charged at the normal invoice rate. All sign ups are for a minimum of two weeks and you must contact us within 48 hours with details of any missed deliveries, damage or holidays.
