Can I change the payment package I am currently paying?
You can change your package at anytime to a different rate. We offer options which allow you to pay by monthly invoice using a variety of methods including paying by cash at a PayPoint, by cheque, credit card or a Postal order sent to our offices, although these options may be slightly more expensive.
What if I don’t want to give my details over the Internet?
If you feel uncomfortable giving details over the Internet, just give our customer service team a call on 0800 028 1909, who will be happy to take your details. If you would rather pay by Direct Debit we can send you a paper mandate to complete and send back to us.
How is my statement calculated?
We calculate your monthly cost of the service depending on the number of papers delivered and deduct any reported missed deliveries or holidays. Dependent on when the credit is reported, the recharge will appear on your next relevant statement. The number of calendar days in each month varies and as such the monthly charge can vary slightly.
What happens if my paper isn’t delivered, is very late or is damaged?
If an expected newspaper delivery did not arrive please contact us on 0800 028 1909, if we are unable to redeliver your paper we will credit your account and investigate the matter. Please note you must report non-deliveries within 24 hours of the expected delivery date.
What happens if I wish to take a holiday?
If you are going on holiday simply call or email our Customer Services team on 0800 028 1909 at least 72 hrs in advance to process your holiday request.
Will I be charged a delivery charge?
There is no charge for our Home Delivery service. This is a complimentary benefit that we offer you when you sign up to the Home Delivery service.
How much does the service cost?
The cost of the Home Delivery service is 50p when you first sign-up for 6 weeks. The price will vary after the initial 6 weeks depending on the payment method you choose. A detailed pricing list can be found on our Pricing & Delivery section.
When will I receive my first newspaper delivery?
Your first delivery date will be determined by the date and time you placed your order with us. Any orders placed before 19.00 on Thursday will commence on the Monday of the following week. Unfortunately orders placed after this time will not start until Monday week.
What time will my newspaper be delivered?
The Belfast Telegraph will endeavour to deliver newspaper(s) to your home before 18.30 each day.
What do I do if I want to cancel the service?
We offer a flexible service. There is no fixed contract so if you change your mind you can amend or cancel your order giving us just 2 weeks notice for cancellation. Just call our customer service team on 0800 028 1909 who will arrange for your Home Delivery service to be cancelled.
When will I receive my free gift?
Your gift of choice will normally be despatched after you have had continuous delivery for more than twelve weeks. Please note your Hi-Life card or Magazine subscriptions will take an additional two weeks to process but this will be valid from the date of issue
